Continuing A Family Tradition

Founded as American Art Glass in 1971, Spokane Stained Glass stands proudly as a testament to the deep-rooted history and passion that began over five decades ago. In 1971, Alex Brannin's father, Jerry, opened a stained glass shop in the heart of Norfolk, VA. It quickly became a cherished local institution, attracting artisans and enthusiasts alike with its impeccable craftsmanship and captivating designs. It was in this shop that Alex grew up learning the craft from his father. He started working professionally in the shop at 15 and opened his own shop in Norfolk, VA, in 2013. In 2019, he re-opened that shop under the same name in Spokane, WA.
